Philodendron gloriosum is a fast growing, terrestrial plant. Its beautiful foliage of velvety-pale green with pink margins and white or pinkish veins. Stunning to watch as each new leaf unfurls and very easy to care for.
Plant Care & Growing Conditions;
Water: Moderate. Let soil dry between watering. (Poke your index finger in the soil, if it feels wet, then it doesn't need watering.
Soil: Well draining. Chucky mix of potting mix & pumice. (If needed, adjust mix to your watering requirements)
Light: Indirect lighting. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves.
Temperature: Ideally room temperatures of 20 - 30°C. (Can tolerate lower & higher temps for short periods if sheltered)
Can be grown outdoors if sheltered from frost & Doesn't sit in soggy wet soil.

Philodendron are considered to be morphologically variable (variable in physical form, e.g. leaf shape, and external structure of the plant). This makes for interesting observations as the plant matures and each new leaf unfurls.
Delivery Information
Plants will only be sent out to you on a Monday & Tuesday to avoid plants being caught in transit over the weekend. If plants are ordered after 12noon on a Monday they will be couriered to you on the following Monday. Tracking numbers will be emailed out to you as soon as the package is picked up by our Courier and on its way to you.
Please allow up to three working days for North island delivery, three -five days for South island deliveries and an extra day for rural deliveries. Unfortunately, we do not ship to PO BOX addresses. If your plant(s) or any other goods have not arrived in this time frame, please flick Toni an email grownsteadynz@gmail.com.
